Plot Summary
"Veteran beach-movie favorites Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello return to the screen in this hip, hilarious update of their surf-and-sand adventures. Break Dancing may have replaced The Twist in the intervening years, but Frankie and Annette still know how to have a good time as well as teach their own 80s new-wave children a thing or two in the process. A host of familiar faces Bob Denver, Tony Dow, Jerry Mathers, Don Adams, Edd Kookie Byrnes, Pee-Wee Herman and more join the fun in the California sun!

An Homage to the Original "Beach Party" Movies!
Frankie and Annette reprise their roles in this 1987 cute continuation of their "beach-combing" classics. The beginning of the film is actually filled with amazing archival clips of Frankie and Annette - such as Frankie performing on "American Bandstand" and Annette adorned with Mouseka-ears in her Mickey Mouse Club days.
Also to note are the never-ending list of cameo appearances, such as Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow from the classic show "Leave it to Beaver". Even Frankie Avalon's sons, Frank Jr. and Tony, join in on the fun (in the song, "California Sun")!
If you've seen at least one of the original "Beach Party" movies, or are familiar with Frankie and Annette, you'll definitely like this movie!

This Movie is one of the old time greats> if you like musical and comedy this is a good choice.
Back to the Beach
This is an absolute classic. Nothing captures the 80's like this one. A must have in my book.
