Plot Summary
Suave, irresistible Joe and his hypochondriac partner Terry have escaped from prison. Cutting a swath from Oregon through California, these fugitives rob banks in order to finance their scheme for a new and somewhat legitimate life south of the border, leaving a trail of terrified bankers, bad wigs - and an adoring public - in their wake. Unfortunately, things get more complicated when they meet Kate Wheeler, an ordinary housewife sick of her boring life - who happens to run into Terry with her car. Kate joins the bandits on their cross-country spree, and eventually she steals something, too - their hearts. Both guys fall in love with Kate - and Kate falls for both of them. Joe and Terry are far from ideal on their own, but together they make up the perfect man...

Rotten: Bandits is guilty of behaving like a petty thievery corporation; it steals from so many other sources that we're forced to realize that it has little of its own to offer.

Great Movie!!
Wonderfully written, wonderfully directed and wonderfully acted!!! I am not a huge fan of Billy Bob, but I sure did love him in this movie. He plays a hypochondriac that thinks he is dying of a brain tumor, no thanks to some help from his accomplice/friend (played by Bruce Willis). These two are the Sleep Over Bandits and the stuff they pull is absolutely hilarious... you need to really WATCH this movie to understand some of the parts in it. The ending is the best part. You will not believe it when you see it! This movie is fantastic!!!!

This movie is soo underrated! One of the most entertaining movies ever...
One of my favorites!
I'm bad at picking favorites of anything, especially movies, but if I had to this might just be it. It's wonderfully entertaining, witty, well written, and excellently portrayed. Kate, Billy Bob, and Bruce do an amazing job in this generally underrated movie. I had never heard of it until I saw it, and most people I recommend it to have also never heard of it. See it, love it, and join the fan club. (Is there a fan club? Let's start one!)
