Plot Summary

Sam is receiving complaints from his neighbors and landlord about the barking that is coming from inside his apartment. He tells them that he has taken in a new dog because he can't tell them the truth just yet. His wife Lucy has suffered a nervous breakdown and believes she is a dog. Now, Sam must turn to an odd collection of misfits to try and help her - including an offbeat veterinarian, a wacky psychiatrist and Lucy's loser best friend. Just how much are people like dogs? This outrageous look into the nature of identity and our place in society is a funny and refreshing tale that reveals the animal in us all. After all, there are no laws that say you have to be sane!

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: At its best, Bark! has some good bits, but it also has some numbingly irritating sequences. – Duane Byrge, Hollywood Reporter, Jun 24, 2010
