Plot Summary
Moo-ve over, all you pretenders... here are the original party animals – the animated gang of Barnyard! This laugh-filled adventure stars Otis, a carefree cow who spends his days singing, dancing and playing tricks on humans... much to the dismay of his father, Ben. As Otis is challenged to take on more responsibility, the animal antics multiply as he struggles to find the courage and talent to be a true leader. Wild, wacky and "udderly" hilarious, here's a herd of animated pranksters that'll keep you laughing out loud!

Rotten: Don't the filmmakers know there are children watching -- and listening?
Rotten: Surely there's no better way to introduce kids to the joys of knee-jerk stereotyping than to randomly distribute cliches among talking livestock.
Rotten: Too mature for little kids and much too corny for older siblings and chaperones, Barnyard probably should have been put out to pasture long before it made it to the multiplex.
Rotten: If you want to punish your kids, send them to bed without dinner. If you want to disturb, frighten and depress them while making sure they fail biology, take them to the animated feature Barnyard.

"Udderly" hilarious indeed!!!
Oh yeah, this movie is definitely a must. Not only for kids but older kids and even parents. I am 15 and I have this movie on my ipod. Reason: it is just one of those funniest movies that never get old. Thumbs up Steve Oedekirk on this one.
