Plot Summary
Batman faces his ultimate challenge as the mysterious Red Hood takes Gotham City by firestorm. One part vigilante, one part criminal kingpin, Red Hood begins cleaning up Gotham with the efficiency of Batman, but without following the same ethical code. And when the Joker falls in the balance, hard truths are revealed and old wounds are reopened.

Great, Dark Batman Movie
This is a really well made movie. The story, animation, and voicework are all fantastic. The action is really good, and they didn't hold back. All the voices acting was great, especially Batman and the Red Hood. This is the first time someone other than Kevin Conroy really nailed Batman (although Conroy is still the ultimate Batman voice). Jensen Ackles was perfect as the Red Hood an brought a lot to the role. The story is dark and dramatic (and even unflinching in some respects), and the fight choreography and animation really sell the action sequences. Overall, this is a great movie--one of DC's best and most complete. I enjoyed the rentail, and I'll pick up the Blu-Ray when it gets released.
dark knight worthy
this movie is worthy of the dark knight franchise. don't be fooled that it is a cartoon because the theme and characters are dark. fully enjoyed the movie and hope mark hamill will reprise his joker role.
Pleasantly surprised
The story is a little dark, but I like it, it's really good.
The Red Hood character is quite unique. I hope he gets his own movie, like an R-rated animated flick.
Definitely one of the top Batman movies, animated or from hollywood.
