Customer Reviews
Not just a story of obsession..
Beauty (Skooheid) is a story not only of obsession but the need for possession. While some may argue about the chilling climax, how else to illustrate how far that need can go. Director Hermanus' use of long shots and lingering, even awkward moments in each scene brings you intimately into the world of Francois. Affecting and multi-layered, this is a film to be experienced.
