Plot Summary
Academy Award®-winning actress Diane Keaton stars with Mandy Moore, Lauren Graham and Piper Perabo in this heartwarming comedy about mothers, daughters and cutting the apron strings. When it comes to her three, free-spirited daughters, Daphne (Keaton) is just your normal overprotective, overbearing, over-the-top mother. Worried that her youngest daughter, Millie (Moore), will end up alone, Daphne meddles in her daughter's love life until she ends up doing all the wrong things for all the right reasons... and all in the name of motherly love.

Rotten: It's so derivative, unfunny and thuddingly bad that it's one of the more cringe-inducing movies of a genre chock-full of clunkers.
Rotten: Recycling every cliche in the rom-com handbook, it's clear from the very first that Lehmann has sacrificed his characters on the altar of sappy endings. What a waste -- for everybody.
Rotten: Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, when they reached a certain age, played harridans and ax murderers. Diane Keaton has started playing mothers, but, alas, the effect is about the same: She's scary. Very scary.
Rotten: As almost everyone knows by now, the early part of the year has become a dumping ground for dreadful movies. Still, Because I Said So constitutes unusually toxic waste.

this movie is amazing. its really sweet, it even made me cry once. and it also has its funny parts =] overall, i would recommend this movie to anyone! wish iTunes could lower the price though :(

Great Feel Good Movie
One of my favorites... It is very entertaining and has diverse actors. The music is great and it shows how mothers and daughters act! At the end of the movie you are left with a great feeling and it gets better every time you watch it. If that doesn't draw you in watch it for the hot men!
