Plot Summary

Funnyman Adam Sandler stars in Walt Disney Pictures' Bedtime Stories, the magical family comedy that's packed with adventure and lots of heart. When Skeeter Bronson (Sandler) babysits his sister's (Courteney Cox) children, his imagination runs wild as he dreams up elaborate bedtime stories - always casting himself as the hero. Entranced, the children add their own ideas to these once-upon-a-time tales of heroics and chivalry. Then...magic happens. These nighttime fantasies become Skeeter's daytime realities, leading him on a real-life adventure in search of his own happy ending. Filled with colorful characters, humor and whimsy, this heartwarming comedy will enchant your entire family again and again.

Funny, kid friendly

I loved this movie. I thought it was going to be a typical Adam Sandler, bathroom humor, crude, rude and just stupid, but it wasn't! It was light hearted, and fun, and had nice fun kid humor. Some light bathroom humor, but it was just plain fun. It was also great how they twisted the stories into reality. Very fun cute movie.

LOVED IT!

I LOVED it!!! (especially cuz i have connections and i got to veiw it before it appeared in theaters!!) ANYWAY, these are the reasons I loved it and why you should get it!: - Adam Sandler was PERFECT for the character Uncle Skeeter Bronson! He plays the part beautifully, and is the reason the movie is so cute and funny! - The plot on how whatever the kids tell in their story, actually happens to Skeeter, is very creative and enjoyable to see their stroies as they are told. - Funny!! Adam Sandler has to survive all of the stories and they are a lot of the time, odd stories! funny! - BUGSY! In this movie, there is an ADORABLE hamster belonging to Skeeter's nephew and neice. He is VERY funny and cute! Makes this film more enjoyable! - Rated with five stars on IMDb (The Internet Movie Database) - Overall GREAT and TOTALLY appropiate for young kids and ALL ages!! ENJOY!!

Surprisingly...Not that bad

Though I thought I could never forgive him for Zohan, Adam Sandler somewhat redeems himself with bedtime stories. The concept is pretty dopey: An awkward, misfit uncle who discovers that the bedtime tales he tells his niece and nephew bedtime stories that come true. However, the execution of the movie is well done. It is very cute and witty, a great film for young kids. The film also effectively holds the interest of adults so movie night with the kids isn't so painful.
