Plot Summary
Narrated by Whoopi Goldberg, BEING ELMO: A PUPPETEER’S JOURNEY follows Clash’s remarkable career, while also offering a behind-the-scenes look at Sesame Street and the Jim Henson Workshop. As a teenager growing up in Baltimore in the 1970s, Clash had very different aspirations from his classmates—he wanted to be a part of Henson’s team, the creative force responsible for delivering the magic of Sesame Street on a daily basis. With a supportive family behind him, Kevin made his dreams come true.

Elmo behind the scenes
Great short little documentary about the guy who created elmo. This film is highly recomended for any muppet fan. had me laughing, crying, and gave me chills. great companion piece with the new muppet movie out. It goes into the history of Jim henson and the muppet making process. prepare to grab the tissues when a little girls make a wish comes true when she vists seasme street and hugs her friend, elmo. touching, beyond belief. might not be worth a full purchase, its only around 72 minutes. But a good solid rental.if your a huge muppet fan like myself, than buy it because you will be watching it time and time again

It's the inspirational story of a man and his dream. A must-see.

This was such a cute documentary! Inspiring as well and I love how you can truly see Kevin come alive as he brings Elmo to life. This put a whole new perspective on Sesame Street for me. Wonderful. Just wonderful.
