Plot Summary
Dressed in leotards, red jacket and top hat, Joan Crawford is her imperious best as the owner and ringmaster of a circus--an iceberg of a character who takes in her stride a series of mysterious and grisly murders.

Plan 9 has nothing over this movie!
The ultimate in bad movie, over-the-top performances. Even to the end of her career, Joan Crawford still acted like a star of yester year! Have been searching for years for this movie and now ITunes have it. Though the price is a little high for the quality of this movie, I can finally rest that I now own it!
Joan Crawford B Movie
Some movies are so strange they are good. Offbeat Joan Crawford flick made while she was still on the board of pepsi married to the CEO. Most all of the outfits Crawford wore in the film were actually her own personal garments. Joan would arrive on the set early every morning to personally make breakfast for the cast. The actual circus used in the film was the Billy Smart's Circus. BS can be seen on some of the animal emblems. Pepsi signs can also be seen here and there, for Joan was part of the pepsi Company. A mix of B movie horror and actual Billy Smart's circus acts. If you don't care for the acting or the plot of the movie, you might enjoy the various live circus acts.
BERSERK FOR BERSERK
I caught this movie on TCM and I love it. It's not really scary or horror like but a good mystery with some funny moments. Matilda is a real piece of work. What employee gets away with mouthing off at her boss. I wish that was a option for the rest of us. LOL.
