Plot Summary
A powerful fusion of the past and present, concerning a young Russian woman who undergoes a transforming journey, arriving in New York to begin a new life with her former lover, the father of her unborn child. Suddenly displaced and rejected, she forges a bond with a trip-hop DJ and begins to unearth from deep within herself a wealth of stories and unresolved issues from her Russian past...As her journey in New York develops alongside her memories, her story contemplates the borders of self liberation and self-deception.
