Plot Summary

In this hilarious comedy, Jamal (Martin Lawrence) toils unhappily at Medieval World, a theme park that looks like it has not been renovated (or had customers, for that matter) since the Dark Ages. After falling into the park's fetid moat, Jamal crawls out into fourteenth-century England, a world of knights in shining armor and damsels in distress...not to mention questionable hygiene and really lousy plumbing! Now a stranger in a very strange land, Jamal falls in with a dissolute knight, a beautiful woman with some very modern ideas, and even leads a rebellion against the evil king. The Middle Ages will never be the same when Jamal uses his twenty-first century street smarts to help his new friends!

Black Knight has its place.

I love when there are modern twists made on classic tales and more so when they are done creatively and add element to an all ready great story. You might think oh he is black and thats why he is the black knight. Looking beyond that simple take, you do find that it is just about this ordinary guy thrust into a world in turmoil. A world that needs a hero. He might not be fighting an army of darkness, but he is that guy none the less and in the end he gets the job done, in his own way. Thats what its all about.

Great movie!!! I loved it!!!!

I don't care that someone rated this movie as one star and my opinion differs tremendously. I love this movie! I also love the version of it with Keshia Knight Pulliam... I want that version too. Any other versions are usually garbage. So to those who think this movie stinks, uh... I don't get it. Martin Lawrence's career may or may not have gone downhill at the time this movie was made, but it rocks!!! As for that person who brought up race, as of the time I read that review, nobody else mentioned it.

?

Isnt this the movie where martin lawrence's acting career went to crap?
