1982 US Theatrical Release

"They don't advertise for killers in a newspaper. That was my profession. Ex-cop. Ex-killer. Ex-blade runner."

Yes folks, it's all here in its noir-ish glory… Rick Deckard's narration. Sure the Final Cut fixed some glitches and edits, but I'll take the original 1982 US theatrical release any day. It was never broken to begin with.
I gambled on this purchase, fearing it might end up being the 1992 Director's Cut, and was thrilled when the narration kicked in. My only wish is that the iTunes Extras were included here. If you agree that the voice-over adds more than detracts, then skip the Final Cut and get this version.

Blade Runner

It's my favorite movie, you can see more up to date movie's use scenes from this movie. When they made they didn't have all the digital magic they have now. It was ahead of it's time.

Perfect Timing

What do you get when you cross Harrison Ford right after Raiders of the Lost Ark and Ridley Scott right after Alien? Blade Runner. You really need to watch the original version and the director's cut and judge for yourself but what I'd love to see is the director's cut with the narration.

P.S.: If you're a true fan of Blade Runner next time you're in L.A. make the effort to go see the Bradbury Building. It can only be described as a religious experience.
