Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: The sort of glittering trash pile that makes you dread the words comic-book movie. – Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly, Sep 7, 2011

Rotten: Though slick and diverting in some aspects, increasingly silly pic has trouble meshing disparate elements -- horror, superhero fantasy, straight-up action -- into a workable whole. – Dennis Harvey, Variety, Jul 7, 2010

Fresh: Pure visceral imagery. – Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times, Jul 7, 2010

Fresh: Blade is one of those all-style, no-substance goth-mix adaptations that looks like The Crow, sounds like Spawn, and feels like Dark City. – Naomi Ryerson, Mr. Showbiz, Jun 24, 2010

A real super hero

On par with Batman begins, not an origin story but real world darkness. And Blade is just so bad and anti-hero which is perfect for the world he dwells in.

where are the other 2 Blades

I am so glad they have this movie but where are the other 2 Blades

BLADE

The best dang vampire slaying movie ever(say that fast five times)! Its funny too, it shows him killing a bunch of vampires but then regular people are thinking that he is killing humans!
P.S. the ending could have been better.
