Plot Summary
A hilarious comedy about Danny, an intelligent, confident young man, who happens to be blind. Determined to help Danny find a girl, his brother Larry sets up a series of hysterically disastrous blind dates with shallow girls that can't seem to get past his impairment. Just when Danny is ready to give up on love, he meets an East Indian nurse named Leeza. The two seem to be made for each other, until Leeza reveals she's been promised to another man in an arranged marriage!

Rotten: The chemistry between Leeza and Danny is the only saving grace of this messy film. It's almost as if the writers couldn't stand to just watch them sweetly fall in love.
Rotten: Blind Dating also manages to be an incredibly muddled 95 minutes in which emotions are replaced by aggressive music cues to force the viewer to care for characters that are paper thin at best.
Rotten: Pleasant but forgettable, it's destined to end up as little more than a minor footnote on Pine's megastar CV.
Rotten: The whole thing ends with a jolly multicultural dance montage so gruesome that temporary blindness would be a blessed relief.

Blind Dating
I read the reviews on this movie prior to watching it and decided that it should at least be passable. But...I found even better then that. It's a total chick flick and I mean that as a compliment. Worth the $4 and worth the hour and a half. Strongly recommended.

i loved this movie!! it was funny and everyone should rent or buy it! there were serious situations and goofy moments. i watched it with my entire family and we all thought it was great!
Lighthearted fun won't challenge the audience
I came looking for something easy to watch, and found that in "Blind Dating" – with a straightforward plot, this movie nevertheless manages to charm. On the other hand, I'd have liked to see the female lead take a more active role in her own liberation, at the very least in response to the behavior of her fiancé, and it would have been nice to see some growth in the relationship between the male lead and his sister. Believable performances, even for the improbable supporting characters, bring this story to life in what is altogether a modest success.
