Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Traudl Junge's story is riveting. – Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle, Jul 30, 2003

Fresh: Perhaps most distressing to subject and audience alike is the way one can be at the epicenter of history and still remain blind, both because the actual evil is happening elsewhere and because it's easier to not look. – Ty Burr, Boston Globe, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: Both a documentary and, for all intents and purposes, the last testament of a generation's tragic folly. – Gene Seymour, Newsday, Jun 24, 2010

Based on the book "Hitlers Secretary"

I remember I read the book when it came out and then saw this film in the cinema a year later in 2002. This film along with the book by Hitlers Architect Albert Speer and the movie Downfall gives a good viewpoint into what happened and how it was possible. Downfall actually have both hitlers secretary and his architect in roles where you will recognize them.
