Plot Summary
In the very near future, no-one can afford to drive any more. Fuel prices are at an astronomical high and car parks have become graveyards for abandoned cars. Vegan school teacher Archie is trying to invent an alternative engine that runs on wheatgrass, but when he accidentally cuts himself he discovers that all his engine needs to work is blood... HUMAN blood. With his blood-fuelled car, Archie soon draws the attention of sex-crazed hottie Denise, who will do anything for a ride. But the authorities are already following Archie, as he is forced into ever more shocking and extreme behaviour to keep his blood car on the road, in this award-winning critically-acclaimed black comedy.

When You Start Shooting Little Dogs, I'm Out
There's nothing worse than a comedy that think it's funny…
Starting with some smarmy db talking to the camera, setting up the premise. Very lazy story-telling. The guy (the director?) thinks he's hilarious. He's not.
As you've read, an ordinary man invents an engine that runs on blood. Might have been funny. Until he shoots a squirrel. And then a dog. That's not comedy. Not even black comedy.
This is a must do-not-rent.
Really funny!
This movie is HILARIOUS. It's really raunchy an low rent but the jokes made me laugh my face off. The ending is really funny too, in a very wrong way. And for some reason the girl in the My Girl movies is in this. Awesome Midnight Movie
Cinephile
This is an excellent film that has balls (and boobs!). It isn't afraid to push society's buttons. It lampoons all manner of movies, from political thrillers to dystopian horror flicks. Great fun all around and Anna Chlumsky has a fun supporting part as an eco-nerd.
