Plot Summary
The crew of a remote weather research station in the German Alps finds that a retreating glacier is turning the local wildlife into ravenous biological monstrosities, in this timely horror thriller from director Marvin Kren. At a remote weather research station in the German Alps, three scientists and a technician monitor and study the climate and the ramifications of rapid weather changes on our world. On the eve of a visit by an important government minister, they discover that a rapidly retreating glacier has begun to leak a strange red liquid. The mysterious compound seems to be affecting local wildlife at a genetic level, and soon it will be up to reclusive technician Janek (Gerhard Liebmann) to defend the group from the biological monstrosities growing just beyond the walls of their tiny outpost.

Fresh: Sometimes genre-based filmmakers don't know how to make their material fun without making fun of their material, but that's not a failing of Mr. Kren's.
Fresh: Yes, this is gruesome Euro-horror about the climate apocalypse and the possible end of life on earth as we know it, but it's also fun for the whole family.
Rotten: As if climate change weren't worrying enough, studies show it's leading to an uptick in the production of cheesy German-language monster flicks.
Rotten: The attempts made to flesh out Janek and Tanja's rocky relationship, especially, are pure Screenwriting 101 contrivance.

Do not rent this movie!! Save your money for sand or throw it away!
I am so turned off by the fact that this movie was voiced over and nothing in the description stated so.....I find it impossible to watch when the lips and the voice have absolutely no correlation of one another. I would rather watch a movie subtitled, however, they chose to do a voice over and that all said I can't tell if the acting was good, fair, horrible, or even valid. I admit that I gave this movie five minutes and with that you've got a review.
Bad Dubbing
I couldn’t get through this movie. If there’s one thing I hate more than subtitles it’s bad dubbing. This movie might be primarily English but only by way of badly dubbed dialog. It was so annoying I couldn’t finish it. If dubbing doesn’t bother you, you’re welcome to give this one a shot. But consider yourself warned...
DUMB
Besides the obvious fear mongering over climate change, it’s cheap scares can’t overcome the irrational behavior of it’s characters and silly plotting.
