Rotten: Result is a sentimentally sugary flavor which also extends over the romantic portions of the film. There is no comedy relief.
Rotten: Pretty Technicolor, but the tearjerking is shameless.
Customer Reviews
Beautiful Story!
A stellar cast, script, directing, and production! This is one good film! You won't want to miss this!
Forget the critics!
This movie is based on a true hero to all adoptee who do not see their birth status on the birth certificate for the rest of their lives, no matter whom they were adopted by. This movie is very sentimental because it was supposed to be. it's serious when needed, and shows a lot of heart! Greer Garson did an excellent job portraying a wonderful woman who did so much for orphans! Edna Gladny , whom Garson portrayed, said she wished everyone could see this movie and inspire them to help out others in need. Can't get a better endorsement than the person you are playing!!
