Plot Summary
Drs. Nathan and Marla Collins are shark experts working on a top-secret government project: to protect our shorelines by creating controlled shark patrols. When their project is sabotaged, the mutant great white sharks are released into American waterways. Out among the general population the smartest of the sharks, Red Dog, carries a neutron bomb on a mission to blow up the Golden Gate Bridge.

So Bad It
If you like bad sci-fi movies you will enjoy this little adventure. The special effects aren't great (the sharks are VERY computer animated) and the plot is laughable but really, who watches a movie about government engineered sharks expecting to see the next Jaws? I enjoy bad sci-fi movies, especially ones about sharks, snakes, etc (Sharks in Venice, Dark Waters, Giant Shark vs. Giant Octopus, all the bad Anaconda movies, etc.). The portrayal of the Air Force guys had me rolling on my couch almost crying tears as it was so absurd, but once again, that is all part of bad movies that makes them fun to watch. I would rent and not buy this as it will probably only be so bad it's good the first time, after that, it will jst be bad.
A Great Bad Film To make fun of and laugh at.
yes the only reason i am giving this piece of junk five stars, is because it made me laugh so hard and what a fun film to rip apart while watch it. Mystery science theater crew should've gotten ahold of this piece and gone to town on it. personally if you think you'd like to try and watch it, be forewarned it's really awful and ultra cheesy over the top stuff. so if you're into that type thing finding ultra bad films to make fun, then buy for 6 bucks and have a laugh. but to those are'nt that way, please stay away from this movie, it's not A classic "B" film or a cult classic . it's just fodder for the brain that will leave you tick off. and wondering why did i watched that piece of trash?

Out of all the bad sci-fi movies I've seen, this has to be one of the best!
There is just something about the sort of cheesey character development in this movie and bizzare sense of awesomeness that I really enjoyed about this movie!
The main reason I think that this one stands out is because other movies like this one (Mega shark vs giant octopus, 30,000 leagues under the sea, mega piranha, Dinoshark, the 2009 remake of the land that time forgot etc) is because in those movies there are times where the characters were trying to be serious and it's hard to take someone serious when they're being attacked by a cheesey low budget animated cartoon-like creature.
In this movie I did saw of course a little bit of that, but not a lot. The only time you did see those kind of moments was during the opening scene and the end.
