Plot Summary
A murderer marries a young innocent woman and then goes after her more experienced sister in this suspenseful mystery starring Oscar-winner Claire Trevor ("Key Largo"). Walter Slezak ("Black Beauty") and Lawrence Tierney ("Reservoir Dogs") are superb, bringing their complex characters to life.

Not from 2005 but from 1947!
Firstly this movie was not released in 2005, it was released in 1947 and is from the Film Noir genre. As a piece of Film Noir, it's pretty good but not in the league of films like Laura. Interesting to note that it was directed by Robert Wise, who went on to direct West Side Story, The Sound of Music, The Andromeda Strain and the first Star trek movie among many others
