Plot Summary
A young man is released from prison after many years and given a new identity in a new town. Aided by a supervisor who becomes like a father to him he finds a job and friends and hesitantly starts a relationship with a compassionate girl. But the secret of the heinous crime he committed as a boy weighs down on him, and he learns that it is not so easy to escape your past.

Fresh: Although the screenplay tips our sympathies wholly in the young man's direction, it's cleverly structured to reveal the particulars of the long-ago crime, and what led up to it, in flashback.
Fresh: In tandem, the director and screenwriter build up a palpable suspense. Boy A will rivet you while raising issues about forgiveness and just who deserves it.
Fresh: If Hitchcock had done a coming-of-age drama, it might have resembled this haunting, nervous, sad movie.

Such an emotional thought provoking movie
Andrew garfield is an amazing actor, and this movie deserves to be more widely known. It makes you think about human nature, and it's heartwrenchingly sad. It sheds light on who we give second chances to.

I am so excited that this movie is on here because its great and Andrew Garfield is extremely talented. I definetly encourage anyone to get this.

AMAZING performance from Andrew Garfield... don't understand why this movie didn't get more attention it was brilliant... heartwrenchingly sad and makes u think about who gets second chances...
