Plot Summary
"Making this film was one of the most uplifting, inspiring, emotional, educational journeys of my life. Football has always been a big part of my life ever since my father took me to my first Tennessee football game as a kid. My heroes were formed there. Over the years in Knoxville, I realized that football was more than a game. For some it is a religious experience. I only played two years of high school football but the lessons I learned during those two years and the impact those years on the field and Coach Randy Carroll had on me, have had a direct influence on how I live and how I work. That's why I wanted to make this film -because for generations, so many of us have been touched by this game and have allowed this game to get inside our souls and make us who we are. Not only the players and coaches, but the parents, the grandparents, the trainers, the girlfriends, the bands, the cheerleaders. Anyone who has had this game in their life at all has been touched by it and we are all part of the idea behind BOYS OF FALL." -Kenny Chesney
