Plot Summary

Bunny & the Bull is a road movie set entirely in a flat. Stephen Turnbull hasn’t been outside in months. Living with a painfully restrictive routine, he refuses to interact with the world or think about the past. When a sudden infestation of mice forces him to change his ways, he finds his mind hurtling back to the disastrous trek around Europe he undertook with his friend Bunny, a womanising, gambling-addicted booze-hound. Unable to stem the flood of memories, Stephen’s flat becomes the springboard for an extraordinary odyssey through landscapes made up of snapshots and souvenirs, from the industrial wastelands of Silesia to the bull fields of Andalusia. A story of love, disillusionment, stuffed bears and globalised seafood, Bunny & the Bull is an offbeat and heartfelt journey to the end of the room.

Amelie on LSD

If you are a fan of "Mary and Max" or "MicMacs" by Amelie Director Jean-Pierre Jeunet or "The Mighty Boosh" which is a British comedy series, it is very, very likely you will love this film. The surrealist artistry of each scene mixed with the quirky dry comedy of the characters is unique and lovely in a special way that makes it stand apart from other films. If you are looking for a Sean of the Dead type comedy, forget it. if you are looking for American comedy at all, forget it. This is a story about friendship and overcoming a fear of the world outside; it's basically a fantasy-drama with a quirky edge. I just loved that it was so different and I really felt like I was watching a film, not just another movie...

Did the reviewers actually watch this thing while they were sober?

This movie is so boring and slow-paced that I even watched the news during it. Storyline: It is pathetic to make a mockery of a serious phobia. The actors have no depth and should be ashamed. The directing is has no imagination. Who really cares about a crab race with a bunch of out of focus screaming people. Really, skip this movie completely and spend your money elsewhere.

What

"a crab race with out of focus people" that's having no imagination?
