Surprisingly funny satire

I saw this movie a year ago at a film festival and while parts of it didn't work (namely around issues of race - I mean the African-American orphan's name is Destiny for pete's sake), it was frequently laugh-out-loud funny. Jennifer Garner and Yara Shahidi are fine, but Olivia Wilde and Rob Corddry were especially winning in their roles, and Alicia Silverstone and Phyllis Smith are also great. (And yes, there's bloopers that play over the closing credits which are worth staying for.)

What a fun movie :)

Butter totally took me by surprise. Funny & sweet with enough hard-edged humor to keep it interesting. Bonuses: seeing Rob Corddry play a non-over-the-top character was really fun, and I didn't know Jennifer Garner could pull off such a role. All the characters really interacted well with each other. Do yourself a favor and rent this movie - it's a good time and will leave a smile on your face :)

9.99 yes….

Its 9.99 because it has not been released even at the theaters yet….. people should pay more attention…..
