Plot Summary

Nowhere-man Ronny Miller is secretly in love with Cindy Mancini, the prettiest, most popular girl on campus. When Cindy finds herself in a desperate predicament, Ronny steps to save the day - for a price! Cindy must pose as Ronny's girl so that her popularity might rub off on him. But the road to popularity takes an unexpected twist when Ronny becomes so "cool" that his former friends feel the chill. Cindy is left totally out in the cold, and Ronny himself discovers that might buy you popularity, but it can't buy you love!

I can word for word reenact this movie. Also is what made me move to the west from Brooklyn, NY. Finally added it to iTunes. They had all other 80's high school, teen dream, love, comedy movies but this one. Glad it's FINALLY HERE. Beats all those other 80's similar flicks.

I also loved this movie.I was a teenager when this movie was out and fell in love with Amanda Peterson.. Here it is years later and I have a 17 year old son and let him watch this movie cause he loves all those 80's movies and he also fell in love with her...Awesome movie!!
