Plot Summary
On a celebratory birthday trip, Caroline (Marguerite Moreau) visits her sister, Jackie (Bitsie Tulloch) and her boyfriend (David Giuntoli). What starts out as a fun evening with close friends quickly goes askew. Caroline and the group attempt to support Jackie for an apparent illness - though it's unclear who really needs the most help.

Fresh: It captures the awkwardness, loneliness and unacknowledged desperation that haunt us all but that are particularly poignant when seen among attractive 30-somethings.
Fresh: Displaying nerves of steel and a generous heart, helmer Adam Christian Clark takes a lot of chances with Caroline and Jackie.
Fresh: Much of the truth is conveyed in the two leads' performances, both of them itchy and disagreeable in the manner of someone trying to prevent a too-familiar conflict from bubbling up again.

loved this movie!
It was very beautifully made, great acting. The storyline was pretty complex, not hard to follow but there were so many twists and turns, by the end you had no idea what was going to happen! I was yelling out the whole time! I guess I'm a vocal moviegoer. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This emotionally provocative plot is compelling, raw, and rings desperately true.

Totally unexpected turn of events! And the movie leaves you thinking. So I don't give anything away I won't say more. Very enjoyable.
