Plot Summary
Spilled ink and even more spilled tears follow 20 of the world's most promising aspiring cartoonists and graphic novelists to the ramshackle village of White River Junction, Vermont to complete an intense no-holds barred MFA degree in comics. I can't recommend this movie enough!
I wasn't super interested in comic books before watching this film, but I still really, REALLY liked this documentary. It was very interesting to see the process of making a comic book and to see how the artists drew their cartoons. Cartoon College basically gives the viewer a glimpse inside the process of the artist, of the comic book artists specifically. What was really great about this film, however, were all of the people that were featured, they are honestly as likable and quirky as the characters they depict. I highly recommend it.
