Plot Summary
The best wine salesman in the Yakima Valley is headed for a breakdown, and only two people can help him. One just broke into his house. The other is having an affair with his girlfriend. This offbeat comedy was filmed on location in the rural wine country of Washington state, and has won several festival awards for its charming take on a man who decides it’s time to let go of some baggage.

Worth a Watch
Caught this at a festival full of people who responded quite well to it and it's a well-made little movie that's got a lot of style and heart. Glad to see it out in the world where it can find more audiences.
Under The Radar... Not For Long.
I caught Cement Suitcase at the Seattle Latino Film Festival almost six months ago and it was easily one of the best films I had seen in 2013. The nuances of the moment where the suitcase actually comes into play is one of the most heartfelt moments I've witnessed. In a cinematic atmosphere where the Hollywood ending dictates whether or not a film succeeds, this film breaks that stereotype and works on every level.

Well written, wonderful cast and incredible direction by Rick Castaneda. There was so much about this film that kept me smiling throughout. It renewed my faith in the independent comedy.
