A film that tells it like it is with glimmers of hope
We are getting so much better at knowing how to teach all our kids. The skills and knowledge is out there, however society and in places the education system is still struggling at times to keep up. There are real challenges with funding and self-imposed pressures from the types of education reforms that emphasize testing, however these are all things that can be changed. Hopefully films like this will help keep the hope alive that there is a reason to question and push and keep presuming all our kids can learn. The education system is a product of our society and it can be changed and evolve. We can change it. I have to believe that because it is too hard for me to keep seeing parents' hearts breaking and kids minds not being educated to their full potential.
