Plot Summary
Chaos Theory is a heartwarming comedy about family, friends, and finding order in a world of complete disorder. Frank Allen (Ryan Reynolds) is a man known for playing it safe. Every choice he makes is deliberate––designed to contribute to a well-ordered, predictable life. But life, as he learns, does not always adhere to a schedule. Frank’s regimented existence begins to unravel when a stunning family revelation forces him to re-examine the concept of fate. Shaken to his core, Frank throws caution to the wind and decides to break all the rules and conventions that have defined him. Frank is about to discover that not even an efficiency expert armed with timetables and index cards can change the serendipitous nature of family and friendship, love and forgiveness.

Funny And Heartwarming
Excellent movie and well worth the purchase or rental. If you're a Ryan Reynolds fan, you'll appreciate the comic moments and will be impressed with the dramatic turns. If you've ever found yourself in a place where everything seems routine and pre-destined and you've wanted to shake things up by doing something different - this movie will speak to you.
Definitely entertaining...i never write reviews...
I told myself that I owed it to people to write an honest review about this movie since I rely on other peoples' reviews to pick the movies I rent. This movie was pretty darn good. Not a classic that I would necessarily buy, but not far from something I would want in my collection. Would definitely watch again at least once and there are some nice twists and deviations from that predictable Hollywood storyline. A comedic story drama about what love really is, not the romantasized version of it. yep.
I Liked It
i think the acting was well done, comedic parts well done as well. It is a heart felt romantic comedy, that explains how a person can not control everything, no matter how much they try. It's pretty predictable, but how many romantic comedies aren't? I give it four stars because overall it is pleasent to watch, but is not the epic romance film of the year. enjoy.
