Plot Summary

Fantasy Adventure. Acclaimed director Tim Burton brings his vividly imaginative style to the beloved Roald Dahl classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, about eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka (Depp) and Charlie, a good-hearted boy from a poor family who lives in the shadow of Wonka's extraordinary factory. Long isolated from his own family, Wonka launches a worldwide contest to select an heir to his candy empire. Five lucky children, including Charlie, draw golden tickets from Wonka chocolate bars and win a guided tour of the legendary candy-making facility that no outsider has seen in 15 years. this movie is awesome its a tim burton movie for crying out loud when can you go wrong with tim and johnny depp and helena bonham carter were awesome in this movie and the score by danny elfman is classic buy this movie if your a big tim burton fan like me or johnny depp fan or helena bonham carter fan you wont be sorry

I love this movie!

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has gorgeous scenery and wonderfully cast actors, especially Johnny Depp who plays Willy Wonka (amazing performance!) and Freddie Highmore as Charlie Bucket. I personally liked this version better than Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with Gene Wilder because it is so much closer to the book and I think it is more interesting. Great movie!

if ur looking 4 great family entertainment, this is the movie. the acting is incredible and so is the quality. it's funny and sweet and ah-mazing!
