Plot Summary
Lost, abandoned, and frightened, a young cougar is discovered and "adopted" by a rugged lumberman named Jess Bradley. Dubbed "Good Time Charlie", the cat soon lives a carefree, domestic life among the rugged logging camps of the Pacific Northwest. But Charlie is torn between this unusual way of life and his true wildlife instincts ... instincts that create friction and fear with the men of the camp. Can Charlie be introduced to his natural environment and survive? A stirring outdoor adventure; a memorable human drama!

Wonderful memories
I use to watch this all time with my grandmother. It's one of my all time favorite disney films. Charlie the Lonesome Cougar is reminder to a generation of people who grew up on Disney films that starred animals. Charlie's story is one that no one could ever or will ever forget. It's one of the films that really got me into loving animals. It's a movie for anyone who loves animals and remembers what Disney used to be like. Believe you me, this a movie that everybody should watch.

A vintage Disney treat! Remember the days when you would rush home in time to settle in for a night of family T.V. watching the "Wonderful World of Disney"? This charming film is a reminder of an era when you could sit for hours and watch wholesome entertainment without violence, sex, gore, and the valueless immoral assault that modern day movies and shows give to us now. Back when a story was just a story and not a statement, motivated by an agenda. Wildlife, grand scenery, and an adventure to be had when America was still wild.
Charlie, is a lonesome couger cub who's mother was killed by hunters. Adopted by a lumberjack in the Pacific northwest and made a pet and companion to the lumber company men working in the highlands and wilderness. Charlie is conficted with his desire to be with humans and his natural instinct to roam wild. A mountain lion just isn't cut out to be timid and of course is constantly getting into trouble!
A chance to see the country before urban development in it's true wilderness state. Along with an adventure that has nonstop action. Do yourself and your family a favor and see this wonderful film.
Completely Amazing
I remember when I was three or four years old and I watched this on VHS. I have been looking for it ever since and now have found it.
