WOW!
Awesome movie! Even though he grew a beard, he still is hot! H-O-T hot! If you like action-packed movies, or even country films, you'll love Charro!
Another Elvis western where his talent lifted the material
Unlike Flaming Star, where Elvis had an academy award director and a great script, this is a movie similar to the movies John Wayne churned out in the late sixties and seventies when his production company Batjak had control over director and cast (and used the same basic supporting cast for every movie): it''s got a great star, a great genre, and is fun to watch because of the star. Without the star, the movie would have been forgotten quickly. Granted, that's true of a lot of movies, but Elvis really wanted to do great westerns and never quite got to do his "great" western (fan fantasy: Elvis playing the Dean Martin role in one of the Wayne-Martin westerns!). This is one of those late Elvis movies that fans love but are also reminded of how great he could have been. Still, as a fan, I love it, and Elvis's performance is quite good.
Wow
This movie was really good! I cant believe he grew a beard though...not much singing in this video.
