Chashme Buddoor

Plot Summary

Chashme Buddoor is about three bachelors who share a one room apartment in Delhi. Omi (Rakesh Bedi) and Jai (Ravi Baswani) are childish and are always chasing girls. Their studious roommate Siddharth (Farooq Shaikh) shows no interest in girls. One day Jai and Omi spy on Neha (Deepti Naval), a pretty girl who has moved into the neighborhood. They attempt to woo her but are unsuccessful and there seems to be no hope. Neha turns up at their door to sell washing powder; she meets Siddharth and they eventually fall in love. Siddharth starts working and thinks about marriage. His roommates, though, can't forget their wounded pride, and they can't bear to see him succeed while they have failed.
