Plot Summary
Privileged teenager Jordan Wells finds himself expelled from prep school after taking provocative photos of his female classmates. Now enrolled in the local high school, he becomes helplessly blinded by the beauty of Shay Bettencourt, a stunning temptress from the other side of the tracks. She is everything he wanted, everything he needed, and nothing he expected. As the relationship heats up, Jordan finds himself wrapped up in the web of her fatal beauty, and an accessory to murder…twice.

Lackluster Attempt at Film Noir
Previous reviewers were too kind to this lackluster attempt at film noir. At best, Cherry Crush was mediocre. While it was unique in the fact that it involved highschoolers, the plot itself seemed more like a regurgitation of genre conventions than something truly original. The characters lacked depth and were little more than crude copies of the archetypal "chump" male and femme fatal. At crucial "dramatic" moments it fell flat and failed to excite. While the cinematography, soundtrack and editing were fairly well executed, this attempt at a thriller produced little more than a disinteresting melodrama. While I have seen worse, I would not recommend this film.
Great Movie!
I'm a huge fan of Nikki Reed and have seen every movie that she has ever starred in. I really think that this is one of my favorite movies. The suspense is amazing and it keeps you on your toes the entire time. The actor who played Jordan was a little less than attractive, but I guess it suited his character. Five stars on the movie. It'd be awsome if Itunes uploaded Nikki's other movies like American Gun and Familiar Strangers. Both are really hard to find anywhere and it'd benefit Itunes adding them to their selection.
Good Movie
I honestly love this movie. I think the plot is interesting, nothing like I have ever seen before. It has talented actors, and is beautifully filmed. I think this is one of many underrated films.
