CHRONOS
Truly ahead of it's time.
A journey back in time
Where do I begin? I remember seeing this movie for the first time at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History back in 1991. I remember buying tickets to the Omni Theater, which was the only domed cinema in North Texas at that time. I remember the theater being completely full, not an empty seat. The lights dim low, the music begins and then the visual overload began. This was my first introduction to timelapse photography / cinema. I have never seen the world in this way, it was absolutely breathtaking.
This movie is fantastic. It blends both Ambient-style music with timelapse visuals. There is no other movie out there like it. Nothing matches the greatness that Stearns and Fricke have created here with Chronos.
I love it!!!
