An indie darling coming-of-age flick
I saw this movie at its premiere last year in San Jose during the CINEQUEST film festival. CITY BABY moves along at a good pace without relying on tactics of violence and guns to keep your attention. Overall - relevant storyline, strong acting, and beautiful cinematography. I enjoyed this movie quite a bit and would strongly recommend it.
Modern, indie Reality Bites
A great, modern take on the listlessness of under-educated overly intellectual twenty-something's trying to find a place in the world somewhere between what they think they deserve and what they actually do.
