Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: The dialogue is ponderous at such times, undercutting what might seem a more daring drama. – Janet Maslin, New York Times, Jul 16, 2008

Rotten: Nicole Conn, who wrote and directed, has not yet learned to do either job with spontaneity and naturalness, and the function of each scene is made so awkwardly clear that we wonder why the characters don't catch on as quickly as we do. – Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: While the film undoubtedly attempts to pique the intellect, it is, above all else, a love story, and, as such, should rouse the emotions as well. For a number of reasons, it proves unable to do so. – James Berardinelli, ReelViews, Dec 8, 2007

Rotten: Despite the obvious sincerity of this project, the stilted acting by most of the secondary cast and the generally undistinguished direction give the script little chance to take root or take flight. – Jonathan Rosenbaum, Chicago Reader, Jun 24, 2010

Perhaps the single WORST movie ever made

I saw this movie as a rental 100 years ago and still am touched by its awfulness. I don't blame the actors (though the performances are extremely stilted)- I blame the writer/director/producer, Nicole Conn. This seemed like such a self-indulgent masturbatory exercise that I felt pity for the two leads who won these roles only to find themselves in this ... hoooooo boy.... stinnnnky stinky stinker. It is STUNNING to know that Conn went on to make more movies and sell other screenplays while her leads faded into oblivion, with this trip as their only claim to fame. God bless them. Note: I do NOT know Conn or anyone else involved in this or any other Conn enterprise. Just sayin'.

Good Movie

I enjoyed this movie it provides sexual angst and is entertaining as well. the characters differ so much and the journey they are on that ultimately brings them together is well portrayed. if youre looking for a sexy movie this will do the trick
