Plot Summary
In "Clash of the Titans," the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds, leading a daring band of warriors, including Draco (Mads Mikkelsen), an experienced soldier who encourages the defiant Perseus to make use of his god-given abilities. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, they will only survive if Perseus can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: As it turns out, this Clash of the Titans was dated before it opened.
Rotten: The remake out this weekend largely does away with the stately Titans stuff, in favor of more clashing.
Rotten: On July 10th, it will be released on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and only then, I feel, will it truly come into its own.
Rotten: There's not a lot of humor in this new Clash -- not intentional, anyway.

This Movie Rocks!!!
Ok, i've been seeing alot of bad reviews for this movie, but I went and saw it and I absolutely LOVED it. If you don't like crazy action you won't like this movie, but I mean, come on! It's not supposed to be something that could really happen. it totally is a cool movie and if you like fanasy/ action you should so totally see this.
Best popcorn movie of 2010 so far.
The only problem I had with the film is that it had too many sub-stories and was switching from scene to scene every few minutes except of course for the fight scenes, which were good. Aside from that, the acting itself I found to be good for an action movie. I'm not saying they were spectacular, just that they were good. I also found many jaw dropping moments during the fight scenes, which is a pretty big deal, since I wasn't expecting anything fresh from them, (the best one was the giant scorpion fight). This movie is good or bad depending on what your looking for. If you want a memorable film that will have everyone talking, I suggest "Shutter Island". If you want to relax and burn a couple of hours and have a few laughs, this is your movie. I'll definately see it again for study since they're are many unique and imaginative moments. Like I said, caution, think about what you're looking for. Just to be safe, rent it first. Still, I like it. Hope you do too.
I fell asleep during
I wanted to like this remake, I really did. Went to see it in the theater with a friend, she was having to nudge me awake towards the end. I remember watching the original, so I wasn't expecting a five star movie out of this one, but even so I was disappointed. The entire film was forgettable, none of the strained jokes were funny. They threw the CGI action scenes at you rapid fire until you didn't even care what was happening anymore. And they spent the entire film building up the kraken, and when he came out.....BOOP! Down it went in ten seconds. Like I said....yawn.
