Plot Summary
When a water stain on the Bradford family’s garage door is interpreted as an apparition of the Blessed Virgin, their house attracts the unwanted attention of the county health department, which gives the Bradfords a week to clean up their act or lose their home. Charlie Bradford (Joshua Leonard), an unemployed filmmaker in his 30s, is forced to bring together his eccentric and compulsive mother Linda (Carol Kane), his sister Lisa (Natasha Lyonne), a home health care aid who writes bad checks and shoplifts, and his younger sister Penny (Halley Feiffer), who is trying to overcome her agonizing shyness by starting a career as a home stager. As the family attempts to clear its clutter, long-buried resentment and grief begin to surface, forcing each of them to face what it is they value most in life. This quirky drama also stars Dan Hedaya and Kathy Najimy.

A delightful surprise
A nice story worth watching.
Love this
I really loved this movie. It reminds me of indie films from the hey day of indie films … great acting, really smart cast, great music, and a well told story.
Clutter
Very well written. Great character development. Sensitive, funny, a little dark without being depressing. Cool, interesting quirky cast...very well acted.
