Powerful story

I have never seen a film about this subject matter. Gambling addiction in the US is not far behind Drug addiction, but we don't see many movies that bring that to our attention. I think its a film that everyone should watch. We all can relate to a struggle and be powerless over something, how our choices or powerlessness can affect people we love the most. Its a great short film and I can not wait to see what happens next… Perhaps, there will be an expansion of the story. Can't wait to see more!

WOW...

To be able to define characters to such an in depth degree (in a short, no less) that you both care about and believe in is always an achievement to the writing and direction. I never thought of gambling as an addiction; I didn't dismiss it, I just never thought about it in the same light as drug addiction. This is a great thought provoking piece and WELL worth the 1.99 it cost me to download :) I'm looking forward to the feature as I'm sure their is one on the way.

Beautiful film. An important film.

From the very beginning, I was hooked. This is a raw story about a giant problem in America: gambling addiction. It's from a perspective that I've never seen. It's brilliant. It's superbly acted. And I get the sense that for the filmmaker, it's deeply personal. I hope there's a feature length version in the works. The ending certainly made me hungry for more. What happens next!?
