Plot Summary

"Say" "I do" to this hilarious mockumentary about a trio of wacky couples who vow to win the coveted title of "Most Original Wedding of the Year." The dueling duos include the tuneless Matt (Martin Freeman) and Sam (Jessica Stevenson) whose unfortunate wedding theme is Hollywood musicals; the hyper-competitive tennis partners Josef (Steven Mangan) and Isabelle (Meredith MacNeil), and the outrageously uninhibited nudists Michael (Robert Webb) and Joanna (Olivia Colman). At stake is a million-dollar dream home, but can love survive in the midst of unbridled prenuptial chaos?

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Overall, Confetti is agreeable and appropriately daft, though occasionally tepid and contrived. – Claudia Puig, USA Today, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: The savvy British actors sweating for our amusement in Debbie Isitt's comedy, a fairly funny mockumentary-style lark about a magazine-sponsored wedding competition, fare better than their self-generated material. – Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: The problem with this pretend documentary about engaged couples competing for most over-the-top nuptials is that it comes perilously close to what's on reality TV. – Ruthe Stein, San Francisco Chronicle, Nov 25, 2006

Rotten: Cute and exasperating and, in the end, not nearly lunatic enough; it's a Christopher Guest movie without the fangs. – Ty Burr, Boston Globe, Nov 24, 2011

boo

i heard it was funny.no.

Very cute!

Not as much of a comedy as is implied, it's a very cute movie not unlike wedding reality shows - but with a lot less idiocy. The movie is enjoyable and the actors did a fabulous job.
