Plot Summary

From the controversial author of the best-selling "The Skeptical Environmentalist" comes this “clear-eyed and common sense-ical” (The Austin Chronicle) documentary that challenges the scare tactics of the green movement. Author and economist Bjorn Lomborg takes viewers on an "eye-opening" (Los Angeles Times) journey through a host of practical alternatives to fixing the planet that's being called “engrossing” (The New York Times) and "far more convincing than An Inconvenient Truth".

Customer Reviews

Wow, did any of you negative reviews even watch it?

There seems to be some confusion here. The whole movie was about taking an honest look at solutions for the future. I am sorry but weather you think global warming is real or not (and most of you are not scientists so you are basing all your opinions on what you have heard by your favorite journalist or blogger), oil is a fossil fuel. It is not infinite people... Do not get pissed over sensible ideas to combat energy issues because you can not seperate them from your opinion on global warming. Do you have any idea how much America could prosper if it didnt give all its money to the middle east? Think about it. No matter what your political affiliation is, be sensible on real issues. I was a Marine who spent time at war because of our addiction to fossil fuels... it would be nice if my brothers didnt have to be there till the end of time just because you political soccer hooligans cant be sensible

Rating this Documentary as Documentary NOT for the Content

This is a well done documentary. It is regardless of the content. I believe this rating should be how it is put together not based on if I agree with it or not. Look at the other ratings and see if the overly positive or negative ratings are based on the documentary or if the person has a ax to grind.

So, an economist is telling me about Global warming now?

What's next: Bank Executive performs Heart Surgery? Fail.
