Plot Summary
Now a lovely teenager, Heidi and four schoolmates are forced by the tumult of World War I into an Italian orphanage overseen by the evil Signor Bonelli. Together, the girls make a daring escape through the war-swept countryside. They travel over the Swiss Alps with the orphanage director just footsteps behind them. Captured at the summit, only Heidi's childhood friend, Peter, can save them and lead them home.

Good for the family
Great story, with interest for Mom and Dad, as well as my 12 year old daughter. I would recommend others to watch it, as it opens possibilities to talk to your kids about courage, self reliance, and standing up for others who may be weaker. Enjoy!

Heidi 2: Courage Mountain
I have seen "Heidi 2: Courage Mountain" when I think was either 6 or 7 years old in 1996 or 1997, I didn't really care for it back then!!!! But now that I'm 21 and have matured through out the years I seem to like it better!!!!!
