Wonderful movie!

This is an absolutely delightful movie! Rita Hayworth is wonderful, as always. She really shines in any musicals she does, espeacially the ones in glorious technicolor! Rita adored doing musicals, she went on the record as saying that You Were Never Lovlier was her favorite movie of hers. She is delightful in everything but especially in Cover Girl!

Gene Kelly and Rita Hayworth

When watching this movie you cannot help but feel completely mezmerized by the images unfolding on screen. Rita Hayworth was absolutely magnificent in this film: the singing, the dancing, the acting!! Pairing her up with none other than the master of tap dancing along with Fred Astraire, Gene Kelly was a great move in terms of chemistry and dance technical difficulty. The actor playing Genius reminds one of the Marx Brothers in terms of physical comedy and facial expressions: goofy/ funny!!. It is sweet, charming, funny, and makes you want to get up and join the party
