Plot Summary
Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford star in this action-packed sci-fi western from the director of Iron Man (Jon Favreau). The Extended Version of this epic adventure includes more action not seen in theaters! A stranger (Craig) stumbles into the desert town of Absolution with no memory of his past and a futuristic shackle around his wrist. With the help of mysterious beauty Ella (Wilde) and the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (Ford), he finds himself leading an unlikely posse of cowboys, outlaws, and Apache warriors against a common enemy from beyond this world.

Rotten: Takes itself much too seriously, with acts of brutality outnumbering the gags.
Rotten: The cowboys: great. The aliens: not so much. There's fun to be had here, but it falls way short of the pulp classic it could have been.
Fresh: There is nothing that fascinating about Favreau's treatment, nor his source material, but compared with similar blockbuster fare of recent months, this curious exercise in genre bending is very watchable.
Fresh: If you can swallow the shameless set-up, it's all highly entertaining.

What the heck Rotten Tomatoes?
This movie was well worth the rent and I would not mind seeing it again. It's a great action flick with some great actors. Lately i've been disagreeing with just about Rotten Tomatoes reviews and I HATE that iTunes even includes their reviews on these pages. Read the reviews of the customers, not the critics.
Totally awsome
This movie is really awsome, with a few funny moments. It can get a little creepy, and can be a little gross, but it is a really good story and i would totally buy it.
Just As Awesome As I Had Hoped
This movie had a great story and an interesting plot twist that totally caught me off guard. It was a great combination of old western's with new scifi all the while producing great acting performances by Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig, and Olivia Wilde. I would recommend buying this movie or at least renting it. I promise you won't regret it.
