Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: A thematically articulate film.
Fresh: Producer Dore Schary, in association with Adrian Scott, has pulled no punches.
Fresh: While the film remains a respectable thriller, only Ryan's crafty, quietly deranged performance lifts it out of the ordinary.
Customer Reviews
great film
excellent script and good acting.
The Robert Triumvirate is Tops!
Young, Mitchum, and Ryan are sensational in this film. The story is well written and gets its point across very clearly: hatred is deadly. The supporting cast is excellent, especially Gloria Grahame as a tough as nails lady of the evening. This is film noir at its best.
