Plot Summary
He was known as "The Wickedest Man In The World" or simply "The Beast." More than 60 years after his death, the demonic life and works of British occultist Aleister Crowley has continued to capture the darkest imaginations. In this thriller, a virtual reality experiment gone wrong sends the soul of the infamous madman into the body of a shy university professor. But even as Crowley creates all-new orgies of depraved pleasures and "black magick," is he now preparing to unleash the ultimate occult event upon the world? The film features music by Iron Maiden, Earth Lab and an original score by Bruce Dickinson.

Awesome movie
Actually picked this up at Hollywood video, but this is one of the better crowley movies I've seen. Very cool concept of time and decent research was done on his works. Great movie to watch with the old lady!
Would be awful if it weren't for Simon Callow
I'm a huge Iron Maiden fan and rented this movie because of Bruce Dickinson's involvement in this film and because I knew I could count on a great performance by Simon Callow. In the end, it is Callow's performance that makes this movie barely watchable. The rest of it is just incoherent. At times, I felt like I was watching a bad Dr. Who episode, and I like Dr. Who. So, rent this for Simon Callow's superb character acting and the sexual dialogue and imagery and ignore everything else.
Decent B movie
It's a little slow in the beginning but it's a decent B movie especially if you are a Bruce and or Crowley fan, definitely worth purchasing or renting if this is the case.
