Plot Summary

Sultry crime boss Lucy Diamond (Jordana Brewster, The Fast and the Furious) is back in the states and the D.E.B.S. - an elite team of paramilitary college co-ed super-spies - are hot on her trail. But when their top agent, gorgeous Amy Bradshaw (Sara Foster, The Big Bounce), mysteriously disappears after coming face to face with the attractive young villainess, the D.E.B.S. begin a full-scale search for Lucy's secret lair, never suspecting that Amy may not want to be rescued after all, in this smart and sexy spy spoof about love at first gun sight.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: A heat-free pseudo-lesbian spoof of Charlie's Angels by way of Heathers. – Stephen Holden, New York Times, Jul 16, 2008

Rotten: You might think there's no downside to a movie that peeks up the skirts of babes in micro-minis, but writer-director Angela Robinson's dimwitted satire is libido-killing proof to the contrary. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Nov 24, 2006

Rotten: Plays less like a send-up of Charlie's Angels than one of the endless D-list satires that clogged theaters 40 years ago near the end of the 007-inspired spy cycle. – USA Today, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: Unexpectedly fresh, thanks mostly to the sweetly exuberant love story at its center. – Carina Chocano, Los Angeles Times, Sep 20, 2007

What an Incredibly Refreshing Film

I stumbled onto this film when I watched EWAM and something caught my eye so I caught the repeat and I absolutely loved it. I thought here we go another teen flick with a lesbian twist that are for dumb teenage guys to drool over, but I was wrong. It was funny, it was contextual, and even the few scenes that the two main characters had together just put it all in place. As a gay woman, I applaud them for not just making a half-baked film that could have been turned it into a joke, but making a humorous and smart romantic movie about two opposites, how they find their way to each other and connect despite the obstacles that are put in their way. As well as someone who comes to terms with being different and not only accepting it, but embracing it. Awesome film for any lesbian gals or anyone who finds themselves outside the periphery of what is declared "the norm"

Awesome Flic

This movie was totally awesome!!I laughed so hard at this movie.Props to Jordana Brewster and Sara Foster. They actually look cute together.

Not Just Two Girls Falling In Love

I really enjoyed this film.First time director and writer nailed it out of the gate. It's a fun and crazy take on she-spies.A comic spoof if you will. But it has emotional under tones. And Jordana as usual rocked it.Not to mention the eye candy. And for those who like "franglish" this movie will make you laugh and feel all warm.
